Much brighter lighting technology than standard filament bulbs.The 1957 LED setup does not include a replacement for the backup lamp. It only replaces the brake/parking bulb and the flasher unit under the dash.
Reuse your original lens. It does not interfere with backup lamps. The wire is simply routed down and under the LED printed circuit board.
The standard or sequential function is controlled by the included flasher unit which replaces the original thermal type flasher.  Sequential flash starts in the center and works its way out with concentric rings of LED light.
