Torque Converter Cover Seal Ring 4/3/2020
Installed it in my 57 Bird without removing the engine and transmission. I was able to move the trans to the rear about 3 inches and the engine forward about 1 inch, supporting both with tall screw jack stands. This left enough room between the bell housing and the flex plate to un-bolt the converter cover and slide it down and out. Cleaned everything, greased the new seal ring, stuck it to the cover and re-installed it. No leaks! The old seal ring was likely original and hard as a rock.
